North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (NBPDCL) is a government-owned public sector undertaking responsible for electricity distribution across 21 districts in northern Bihar, including Muzaffarpur. Established on November 1, 2012, following the unbending of the Bihar State Electricity Board (BSEB), NBPDCL operates under the aegis of the Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited (BSPHCL) and is headquartered in Patna.
